US and UK gallons
A US gallon is exactly 3.785411784 litres, so multiply gallons by 3.785 to get litres. A UK (imperial) gallon is larger, 4.54609 litres, and is still used for fuel economy in the UK; pick it from the unit menu. A 15 gallon US car tank holds about 57 litres. To convert litres back to US gallons, divide by 3.785.
