How to convert °C to °F

Multiply the Celsius temperature by 9/5 (1.8) and add 32. 25 °C × 1.8 = 45, plus 32 is 77 °F. A quick mental shortcut is to double the Celsius figure and add 30, which is close for everyday weather: 20 °C is about 70 °F (exactly 68). Water freezes at 0 °C (32 °F) and boils at 100 °C (212 °F), normal body temperature is about 37 °C (98.6 °F), and −40 is the one temperature that's the same on both scales.
