Age Calculator
Calculate your exact age in years, months and days from your date of birth. See your age in weeks, days and hours, and the days to your next birthday.
Your exact age, counted on the calendar
Enter your date of birth and the calculator counts whole years, then whole months, then the remaining days, the same way age is counted on forms and certificates. It also shows your age as a total number of months, weeks, days and hours, the weekday you were born on and how long until your next birthday. Change the second date to work out how old someone was, or will be, on any day: for example on a deadline, at an exam or for a visa application. People born on 29 February have their birthday counted on 28 February in common years.

Frequently asked questions
How is age calculated?
You gain a year on each birthday and a month on the same day of each following month. The days are what remain after the last full month. For example, from 15 March 2000 to 10 July 2026 is 26 years, 3 months and 25 days.
How do I calculate age on a specific date?
Change the 'Age on this date' field. This is useful for application cut-off dates, such as being 18 by 1 September.
How many days old am I?
The total in days appears under the result. Your age in hours is that number times 24.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser, and nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.
