Date Calculator
Count the days between two dates, including weekdays, weeks and months, or add and subtract days, weeks, months and years from a date. Free and instant.
Two calculators in one
Days between dates counts the exact number of days from one date to another, and also shows the gap in years, months and days, in weeks, and the number of weekdays (Monday to Friday). Tick 'Include the end date' when both the first and last day count, such as for a hotel stay or a leave request. Add or subtract days works the other way: start from a date and move forward or back by any number of years, months, weeks and days to find a deadline, due date or anniversary.

Frequently asked questions
Does it count the start and end dates?
By default it counts the days from the start date up to the end date, which is how durations are usually measured. Tick 'Include the end date' to count both days.
How are months added?
Months move on the calendar: 15 January plus 1 month is 15 February. If the day doesn't exist, the last day of the month is used, so 31 January plus 1 month is 28 or 29 February.
Does it account for leap years?
Yes. Every calculation uses the real calendar, including 29 February in leap years.
Are public holidays excluded from weekdays?
No. The weekday count skips only Saturdays and Sundays, because public holidays differ by country.
