Remove Duplicate Lines
Remove duplicate lines from a list, keeping the first of each, and sort A–Z, Z–A, by length or by number. Ignores case and spaces if you like. Free.
Clean up any list
Paste a list of emails, names, keywords, URLs or any lines of text, and the tool keeps the first copy of each line and drops repeats. Ignore case treats 'Apple' and 'apple' as the same; Trim spaces ignores stray spaces at the start and end; Remove empty lines drops blank lines. You can also sort the result alphabetically in either direction, by length, or numerically, with 'natural' ordering so item 2 comes before item 10.

Frequently asked questions
Which copy of a duplicate is kept?
The first one, so the original order is preserved unless you choose to sort.
Can I remove duplicates from a spreadsheet column?
Yes. Copy the column, paste it here, then copy the result back.
How big a list can I paste?
Tens of thousands of lines work fine; it depends on your device's memory.
Is my list sent anywhere?
No. It's processed in your browser, and nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.
