No. Counting happens in your browser and your text never leaves your device. It's gone when you close the page.
How many words is a page?
About 500 words single-spaced or 250 double-spaced, in a 12-point font with standard margins.
Does it count hyphenated words as one?
Words are split the way your browser's language rules do: 'well-known' counts as two words, as in most word processors.
How many characters can an X post have?
280 characters for standard accounts. Links count as 23 characters whatever their length.
