Turn clock times into hours worked

Enter when you clocked in and out each day and how long your breaks were. The calculator works out the hours for each day and the weekly total, in hours and minutes and in decimal hours for payroll. Clock in at 9:00, out at 17:30 with a 30-minute lunch, and that's 8 hours, or 8.00 in decimal. Night shifts that cross midnight are handled too. Add your hourly rate to see the week's pay.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert minutes to decimal hours?

Divide by 60. 45 minutes is 0.75 hours, so 7 h 45 min is 7.75.

How do I handle a shift past midnight?

Enter the times as they are; if the end time is earlier than the start, it's counted as the next day.

Are breaks paid?

It depends on your employer and local law. Enter only unpaid breaks to subtract them.
