How GPA is calculated

Your grade point average weights each course's grade points by its credit hours. On the standard 4.0 scale, A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0 and so on down to F = 0. Multiply each course's points by its credits, add them, and divide by the total credits. An A in a 3-credit course, a B in a 4-credit course and an A- in a 3-credit course gives 35.1 ÷ 10 = 3.51. Enter your current GPA and credits completed to see your new cumulative GPA.
