Mutual fund returns aren't guaranteed: this assumes the same return every year, which real markets never deliver.

Estimate what your mutual fund could grow to

A mutual fund calculator projects the value of regular SIP investments or a one-time lumpsum at an expected yearly return. A ₹10,000 monthly SIP for 10 years at 12% grows to about ₹23.2 lakh from ₹12 lakh invested. Real returns vary year to year, and equity funds can fall in value, so treat the result as an estimate. Equity funds have historically returned 10–14% over long periods in India, debt funds 6–8%.

Frequently asked questions

What return should I assume?

Use 10–12% for diversified equity funds over 10+ years, and 6–7% for debt funds. Past returns don't guarantee future returns.

Is SIP better than lumpsum?

SIP spreads your buying over time, which smooths out market swings. Lumpsum earns more when markets rise steadily, but it carries more timing risk.

Are taxes and expense ratios included?

No. The expected return should already be after the fund's expense ratio. Capital gains tax applies when you sell.

Is my data saved?

No. The calculator runs in your browser and nothing is stored.
